On the Edge of Balance is a deeply personal exploration of the tension between chaos and control, resilience and vulnerability. In this painting, I wanted to capture the overwhelming sensation of navigating a world filled with emotional turbulence and external pressures. The central figure stands amidst a vivid clash of screaming faces, chaotic cars, and abstract patterns—teetering on the edge of balance but never completely tipping over. The vibrant, contrasting colors intensify the feeling of instability, while the bold shapes and surreal elements reflect a blend of human emotion and societal tension. For me, this piece is about the delicate act of staying grounded in a world that often feels unpredictable and overwhelming—a reflection of perseverance, even in the face of chaos.
